This spring, Laura Rathe Fine Art Dallas presents Garden Party, a vibrant Hunt Slonem exhibition on view through May, featuring some of the artist’s newest paintings and mixed media works. Widely recognized for his iconic depictions of bunnies, birds, and butterflies, Slonem’s contemporary practice blends neo-expressionist painting with rich texture, repetition, and luminous color, making his work highly sought after by collectors of contemporary and pop-inspired fine art. In celebration of the exhibition, Slonem was also present at the gallery, offering collectors and visitors a rare opportunity to meet the artist and experience his work firsthand.
In tandem, LRFA is proud to highlight Slonem’s major museum exhibition at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Bunnies, Birds & Butterflies marks the artist’s largest outdoor installation to date, transforming the Arboretum into an immersive art experience. The exhibition features over 100 works, including monumental sculptures and site-specific installations created especially for the botanical setting. Placed throughout the gardens, these large-scale works interact with natural light, landscape, and seasonal change, creating a contemporary art experience in a dynamic, open-air environment. The museum exhibition will be on view from April 20 through September 30, 2026.
Together, these exhibitions position Hunt Slonem at the intersection of contemporary painting, outdoor sculpture, and immersive installation, offering collectors and art enthusiasts multiple ways to engage with his instantly recognizable and ever-evolving body of work.
